The Dusk Lamasery
By some accounts, the Lamasery is one of the oldest heritage cabals in Berlin, but its modern form is most un-German. Where its earlier generations were stodgy and proudly old-fashioned, the current membership favors pilgrimages to India, Nepal, and Tibet, claiming to seek the wisdom hidden by the ancient Aryans. Outsiders claim this is simply propaganda to ensnare the newly awakened among the German nationalists, and those with long memories recall when the Lamasery was called the Monastery, and upheld recognizably Prussian values. These outsiders claim the cabal has been subverted by either the racialism espoused by the Nazis, or by a cult of Eastern mystics, or quite possibly both. Since the fall of Berlin, the Lamasery has fallen silent, although its sanctum has remained inviolate. Neither the councilor Pratiśōdha, nor his provost Chellis, have been seen since the Soviets entered the city.
Having a strong martial streak, the Lamasery is known for the number of Adamantine Arrows claiming membership. The cabal reserved its strongest overtures for those who awakened in service to the German army, and its number now includes a few former SS.
